It was a tragic Christmas for the people of Pemi community in Chibok, Southern Borno today as the dreaded Boko Haram fighters stormed the community killing a pastor and many parishioners.
According to a resident of Chibok who spoke exclusively to Infactng, the insurgents also burnt most of the houses in the community while the residents are currently on the run.
She said: “Today is a day of celebration but some of us are in tears. Boko haram attacked a village called Pemi, the villagers are great farmers but they were not allowed to celebrate the prince of peace in peace.
” They burn down their church and their houses, killed the pastor and many others, Oh Chibok, who will hear your cry!
” Presently the people of Nchiha are running for their dear lives. In God we hope that their end is at hand. Chibok calls for your prayers,” she said.
