President Bola Tinubu is not likely to get any additional land in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from the new Minister in charge of Abuja and former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
Tinubu on Sunday told Wike that any request for land in Abuja by him should not be honored.
The president spoke while declaring open the annual conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Abuja, he however charged the minister to rather deliver the moribund Abuja metroline for the good of the city.

“I want to ride on your metroline. If I ask for free land, do not give me, but deliver the metroline for the good of the greatest number of Nigerians,” Tinubu said, while calling Wike the “landlord of Abuja”.
The meteroline was commissioned by former president Muhammadu Buhari on July 12, 2018 but has remained in comatose due to vandalism and corruption.
