The founder of Living Faith Church otherwise known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has recalled the events that nearly led to the death of his wife of 35years, Faith Oyedepo.
It will be recalled that , Faith Oyedepo went through a year of sickness bothering on death before she was delivered some years ago.
Speaking at the 2022 cross over service at the global headquarters of the church in Ota , Ogun State, on the subject: “Unveiling the mysteries behind the speedy fulfilment of biblical prophecies ” the Bishop said one of the platforms for speedy fulfilment is love for God and His kingdom.
” There was a year, my wife was attacked by the spirit of death, wheelchair today, out of wheelchair tomorrow, but I was faithful, working for God, until Jesus delivered her out of that affliction,” he said.
He said a genuine love for God’s Kingdom will ensure His favours overshadow every aspect of a believers life.
” Saying yes to God guarantees favour. I love my wife, i love my children and they know. But they also know I love Jesus more. Matthew 6:33 saved my life,” Oyedepo said.
