President Joe Biden will not like this. His nemesis and arch rival, former president Donald Trump is back on the beat. He will be facing his old foe, Biden in the 2024 United States presidential elections.
Trump announced his bid to retake the White House on Tuesday following months of speculations.
But his announcement may not be good news to all Republicans some of whom have blamed him for the party’s underwhelming performance in the mid-term elections, an exercise many have predicted as a walk-over for Republicans.
Trump spoke to a crowd of supporters at his Florida estate and declared his bid is what America needed to comeback from decline.
“America’s comeback starts right now,” he boomed to an applause.
IS Trump the man?
Donald Trump had a hard time in his four years in White House. He was roundly hounded by the Democrats and was the first president to be impeached twice. From his first day in office, the Democrats ensured he was welcomed with investigations into his election which they suggested was made possible by Russian hackers.
The media was also especially on his case and CNN had to sack two reporters who, in a bid to dig up dirt on Trump went too far to cook up a story.
In defense, Trump’s harsh rhetoric ended up polarizing the country which made many members of his own party criticize him.

But outside office, Trumps travails continue as he is still under investigation regarding the January 2020 invasion of the Capitol Hill by his supporters.
He is also being investigated after it appears official documents found a way into his house.
But all these paled into the background as he declared his bid to send Biden home.
“We are a nation in decline. For millions of Americans, the past two years under Joe Biden have been a time of pain, hardship, anxiety and despair. We have to save our country,” he said.
