Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has told the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu that the presidency is not his turn but that of the Nigerian youths.
Obi said this at the palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi in company of his vice presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti when the two with members of his party paid a courtesy call on the revered Yoruba monarch.

The former Anambra governor who was welcomed by a large crowd chanting his name prostrated with his VP to greet the Ooni and told the crowd that it is their turn.
” Don’t listen to the tribe, that is what we politicians ( the elites) are using to manipulate you, enough. Don’t look at our religion, let nobody tell you it is his entitlement.

” It is nobody’s turn, it is Nigerians turn, the turn of Nigerian youths. Nobody is entitled to it. And don’t take their money, it is your money they are giving to you. Nobody prints money,” Obi said.
The Ooni later took Obi and Datti on a tour of the palace while explaining that the “Igbos and Yoruba don’t want to fight themselves.”
