Like Nicodemus nocturnal visit, Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, paid a visit to former President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja.
Widely seen as part of his mend fencing meetings and strategy, the consultation was held behind close doors according to aides who were privy to some details about the visit.

It is important to note that the APC candidate has spent the better part of the last 10 years in opposition to the former president and could be seen as the main architect of Jonathan’s downfall from the presidency.
Tinubu, was accompanied by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shetimma, with a delegation of five APC governors. They included the Governor of Plateau State and Director-General of his Presidential Campaign Council, Simon Lalong; his Ogun State counterpart, Dapo Abiodun; Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawale; Jigawa State Governor, Abubakar Badaru and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
From available details, the former president showed grace to the APC leader as he held his hand leading him into the meeting. Sources said Jonathan was elated to have the APC leader visit him for consultation and is open to hear him out.
