All is not well with the All Progressive Congress (APC) 2023 presidential election campaign as the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Adamu on Friday led members of the National Working Committee to the campaign office of the flagbearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja.

Those who attended the meeting which held behind closed doors include: Tinubu’s running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; National Vice Chairman for South-West, Isaac Kekemeke; National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel; Deputy National Chairman for North, Senator Abubakar Kyari, and other notable NWC members in attendance.

Though details of the meeting is sketchy, but several sources said the need to bring River State governor, Nyesom Wike to the Tinubu camp was dominant at the meeting.

It will be recalled that Wike had a fallout with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar after he was passed over for the position of Vice President. Since then, Tinubu had been wooing the PDP chieftain through proxies.
Other matters on the agenda according to sources include the need to bring back the aggrieved members of the party who had protested the Muslim-Muslim ticket. These members include former secretary to the Federal Government, Babachir Lawal and Yakubu Dogara.
