… It’s a lie from hell, says Osinbajo associates

The shape of the dirty politics waiting ahead of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) primaries between supporters of Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and APC leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu reared it’s head today following Osinbajo’s visit to the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Lekan Balogun and a subsequent meeting with APC delegates in the state.
After the meeting with APC delegates, the Osinbajo camp had given each one a bag containing campaign materials.
However, the Tinubu camp had alleged that members of Osinbajo campaign had given each delegate N250,000 as bribes towards voting for the VP in the primaries.
The Tinubu camp also backed up their claims with a picture of the bag and some money inside it.
This newspaper cannot independently verify if the money was given to the delegates or was added after the event by a third party to smear the Osinbajo campaign.
However, the convener of Osinbajo Support Movement, Mr. Liberty Badmus described the allegations as low.
Badmus said: “They were so stunned by the success of Vice President Osinbajo today to Ibadan to meet the delegates that they had to concoct lies and resort to blackmail.
“They brought out the paper bag containing aspirant’s literatures and refreshment , put some miserable Naira notes in it and took photograph and circulate.
“It is not worth responding to at all as they are known to be masters in FAKE NEWS. While they continue to lie Osinbajo and his campaign team will continue to traverse the country to convince delegates to elect him as candidate of APC.”
Osinbajo is coming into the presidential race with the baggage of the complete incompetence and failure of President Buhari’s administration and the toga of betraying Tinubu, seen as his political benefactor.
