Baring any last minute change, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is expected to announce its flag bearers in the 2023 general elections on May 30th 2022.
According to the timetable of events for the primaries, May 30th has been fixed for the party’s presidential primary. The party also proposed dates for the governorship, House of Assembly, and National Assembly primaries.
The ruling party said it plans to hold the House of Assembly primary on May 17th while the House of Representatives’ primary takes place on May 19th.
According to information, the the primary for the Senate is billed for May 21st while the governorship primaries would be held on May 24th.
