Nigerians have joined the rest of the world to call for an end of the ongoing attacks on Ukraine.
Russia Thursday waged a military onslaught on Ukraine, an action which has triggered mass protest across Europe and other countries.
The protesting Nigerians called for cessation of hostilities.

The protest which took place in front of the Russian Embassy in Abuja over the recent invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops saw people carrying different placards.
Some of the placards carry inscription such as “stop the war”.
They also wore T-shirts with the emblem “Stop the war”.
The protesters, which include parents, friends, and loved ones of stranded and fleeing Nigerians in Ukraine, lamented the horrific reports they’ve been receiving about their loved ones/wards being prevented from fleeing Ukraine to other countries such as Hungary, Poland and others.
They called for peace between Russia and Ukraine.
