Nigerian model, Eva Obekpa said despite being a model and a mother of three, keeping her marriage is paramount.
As a result, Obekpa in an interview with our correspondent said there are certain outfits she cannot wear for a photoshoot or runaway as a married woman.
“There are some outfits I can not model in or wear for a photoshoot or the runway. Keeping my reputation intact is really paramount and having respect for my marriage is key above anything else. I always know my boundaries and try as much as possible not to cross them. Obekpa who started her career in 2020 said she intends to use her modelling career as an inspiration to women who think they cannot achieve their dreams despite being married.
“Being married doesn’t hinder you from dreaming and achieving your goals in life. Just know your boundaries and stick to it, know what to do and what not to, know when to say NO and when to say YES. I want to be able to use my modeling career to impact on others positively, being a humanitarian and a philanthropist as well as setting a good example for others to follow. You have to be disciplined, hardworking, diligence, committed and above all putting God first in everything you do as a model.”
The mother of three have worked with different amazing fashion designers in Jos such as Grammon 24, Funfash Haven, La Casual, Kyimyayaihng, Srmakes etc. I have modeled wears such as Bridal wear, summer wears as well as beautiful dresses/gowns.
She won an award in 2021 as the MOST CREATIVE MODEL of the YEAR in the first ever PLATEAU FASHION AWARD NIGHT organized by AFRICULFASH Modelling Agency in the city of Jos.
She hopes to work with top fashion brands and companies such as VERSACE, PRADA, CHANEL, LOUIS VITTON etc alongside other top models like Naomi Campbell, Bella Hadid,Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid etc.
