Alhaji Aliko Dangote has lost his younger brother, Alhaji Sani Dangote, on Sunday.
The deceased, who was Group Vice President of Dangote Groups Plc until death.
This was announced in a statement by the company on Monday morning.
The statement reads: “It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to Almighty Allah that we announce the passing on of our Group Vice President Alhaji Sani Dangote today 14th November, 2021.
“May Allah SWT grant him mercy and admit him in Aljannat-al-Firdaus!”
The statement was, however, silent on the details surrounding the cause of death.
