Wrongful use of Tramadol consumption has done severe harm to many, what then about fake tramadol…

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has dragged one Afamefuna Udensi before the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
The defendant, a 43-year-old businessman that is being prosecuted for the alleged importation of fake Tramadol into the country, has been granted a N10 million bail.
The defendant, who was on November 10 arraigned before Justice Daniel Osiagor on a three-count charge of importation and sale of fake and unregistered drugs, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
After the plea of the defendant, the Defence Counsel, Mr Emeka Okpoko (SAN), informed the court that his client was granted an administrative bail by NAFDAC, and urged to appear for his arraignment.
He also told the court that he was yet to file a motion for bail for the defendant, and so, would do the needful without any further delay.
