Ladipo Akinbi, astute Accountant goes home

Family and friends would pay their last respects to Mr. Ladipo Akinbi, an accountant of high repute, devoted christian leader and grandfather on Friday October 29, 2021 in Lagos.

The late Akinbi, born in April 1930 died peacefully in his sleep after extensive interactions with his family members on October 3rd, 2021.

According to a statement signed by his daughter, Yosola Akinbi, the late accountant would be laid to rest after a befitting service has been performed at the Cathedral Church of Saint Judes, Ebute Metta Lagos at 11am.

A Night of Tributes and Wake-Keep has been scheduled for Thursday 28th October, 2021, at the Anglican Church of Nativity, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos.


“Pa Akinbi was an accountant with decades of professional experience in the Insurance Industry. He retired from UNIC Insurance PLC and served for over two decades as Treasurer of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.


“He also served as Vicar Berger at the Cathedral Church of Saint Judes, Ebute-Metta, Lagos for several decades,” the statement read.

He was blessed and survived by children and grandchildren.
