The management of Kaduna Polytechnic has expelled 96 students over examination malpractices and other malpractices.
The development was contained in a circular released by the management with a reference number; KPT/CA/S/PR. 11/VOL.XXIII/417, dated 1st September, 2021 and signed by H.S Jandutse, on behalf of the Registrar.
Reports also indicated that disciplinary measures were taken by the Academic Board of the Institution during its casual meeting, held on 25th August, 2021, where it revealed the reports of examination malpractices they committed.
It was also learnt that out of the 96 students tried for malpractices, 85 were expelled, and eight were suspended for failure to appear before the examination malpractices committee, while one was exonerated, one was rusticated, and another one had his certificate withdrawn for cases of impersonation in examination hall.
However, the circular further showed that the students were from different departments and academic levels.
