Chief Sunday Adeyemo, the Yoruba nation activist will spend three more days at the Brigade Criminelle in Cotonou as he awaits judgement over his extradition case.
Adeyemo who is also known as Igboho was arraigned before the Cour D’Appel De Cotonou on immigration-related offences by the government of the Benin Republic.

Igboho and his wife have been in custody since their arrest at Cardinal Bernardin International Airport, Cotonou as they attempted to board a flight to Germany on Monday.
They were interrogated by Beninese security operatives at the Brigade Criminelle facility between Wednesday and Thursday. However, his wife Ropo, who is a German citizen has been released and her passport ordered to be returned to her.
The government of Nigeria had declared Igboho wanted over his activities for the actualization of Yoruba nation and for calling for an end to the terrorism allegedly perpetuated by Fulani herdsmen in Yoruba land
