More confusion is ringing around the decision of the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) to increase fuel pump price as the agency has deleted a petrol pricing template announcing an increase in the retail price of petrol.
The template, published on its website on Thursday night and which spelt out the new price per litre of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) as N212.61 and landing cost at N189.61 has ignited much outrage as Nigerians complained bitterly on the hardship brought upon them by incessant increase in fuel price while poverty and insecurity also soar.

However, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) insisted that there will be no increase in the ex-depot price in March.
Infactng visited the link to the price increase template on the PPPRA website and found it has been deleted.
It is not clear what will happen this month as some petrol station had already adjusted their pump to the new price.
