Omoyele Sowore, activist and convener of “Revolution Now” movement appears to have taken his matter to the spiritual level when he appeared at an Abuja Magistrate court flanked by his spiritual leader.
Sowore who is standing trial for criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly and attempting to incite others was arrested on new years eve by the police after leading a protest against bad leadership in the country.

The juju man , dressed in full regalia was seen waving a horsetail and whispering incantations before the court began sitting.
Some analysts who spoke to Infactng believe that Sowore was playing to the gallery as Juju has no place in law and governance.

“ There is nothing juju can do for him,” says Timothy Alebiosu, a Minister in a new generation church in Abuja. “ We all know there is nothing in juju and the devil but because we are superstitious, many people may be afraid,” he concluded.

It was however an interesting sight to see the accused who is not known to subscribe to any particular religion walk with the juju man comfortably.
A former presidential candidate in the 2019 elections, Sowore had a battle with the Nigerian government after he called for a “Revolution Now” rally to call attention to the bad governance in Nigeria.
His case has been adjourned by the court.
