Sunday Adeyemo, a youth leader and social activist has said that he will henceforth not grant any media interviews following series of gaffes from him and misquotes from a section of the media.
To this end, he has employed a spokesperson named Olayomi Koiki.
Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho has been in the news for issuing a quit order to killer herdsmen in Oyo state. He has also led some volunteers to dislodge herdsmen from forests where they allegedly keep kidnapped victims while awaiting ransom.
Igboho has addressed the media on many occasions and was on a virtual meeting with Yorubas in the diaspora where he criticised the Ooni of Ife, for meeting with President Buhari.
The response sparked a lot of controversy and diminished Igboho’s crusade for an end to kidnapping and killing allegedly by Fulani herdsmen.
However, Igboho said he has also noticed some fake news about him especially in te social media.
Igboho said: “I have been seeing fake news flying here and there, some said I’m not scared of civil war, any news that you see henceforth that is not from Koiki don’t believe it.
“Anything Koiki says about me is true because we sleep and wake up together every day.”
