Nigeria’s international image continues to plummet over the weekend as the United Arab Emirates (UAE) becomes the latest country to humiliate Nigeria with COVID-19 palliatives.
The Emirate government in a tweet said the Prime Minister of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has ordered the shipment of what is described as “urgent humanitarian aid” to Nigeria.

According to the tweet from the official Twitter handle of The Government of Dubai Media Office, @DXBMediaOffice, the humanitarian aid is to assist Nigeria in fighting the COVID pandemic.
The relief shipments include 14 tonnes of medical supplies and 20 tonnes of food supplies.
The UAE is not the first country to humiliate Nigeria, fellow West Africa country of Ghana has continually humiliated the Buhari administration.
Recall that Ghana recently demolished Nigeria’s High Commission over an excuse and has already begun to lock down business premises belonging to Nigerians in the country over payment of $1million dollars license fees.

South Africa has also continually denounced Nigeria, killing and maiming at will Nigerian citizens in the country.
Foreign Affairs Minister Geoffrey Onyeama has not responded in full measure to the series of incidences against Nigeria.
President Buhari had promised while campaigning for office in 2015 to bequeath to Nigerians a country they would be proud of that would take it’s rightful place in the committee of nations.

On the contrary, Nigeria has suffered it’s worse humiliation on the international scene.
